Privacy Policy
Sonaze is published by CodeNova Tech ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game and this website touch, why, and what choices you have. There is no account in Sonaze: you never give us a name, password or phone number to play.
1. Information we collect
On-device game data
Your progress, coins, unlocks, cosmetics, settings and statistics are saved in local storage on your device. On Android this store is encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore. We do not receive this save file.
Analytics and stability
- Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). Events such as levels started or cleared, screens visited and where players get stuck, tied to an app-instance identifier rather than to your identity.
- Crash and stability data (Firebase Crashlytics). Crash traces, device model, OS version and app version, so we can fix crashes.
- Remote configuration (Firebase Remote Config). The game fetches settings such as ad timing and link addresses. This sends standard request data, such as your IP address.
- Session capture (Microsoft Clarity). Where enabled and where you have consented, Clarity records how screens are used in a session, such as taps and scrolls, to help us find confusing screens.
Advertising
- Advertising (Google AdMob, with Meta Audience Network mediation). Ad networks receive your device advertising identifier, IP address, device and app details, and may derive a coarse location from your IP address. They use these to serve, limit and measure ads.
- Ad consent. Where the law requires it, the game shows a consent form (Google UMP) before ads load. You can review it later from Settings.
- iOS app tracking. On iOS the game asks permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are not personalised using cross-app tracking.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, which creates a push token for your device. We use it to send messages such as your daily reward. Some reminders are also scheduled locally on your device. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
Purchases
Purchases (coin packs, diamond packs and Remove Ads) are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened, such as the product and a receipt used to verify it, but never your payment card details.
Leaderboards (optional)
Leaderboards use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games. If you sign in to those services, your score and public profile are shared with them under their own policies.
Support messages
If you send feedback from the in-app support form or by email, we receive the message you write and the email address you enter so we can reply.
2. What we do not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or account, unless you contact support.
- No precise location. The game never requests location permission.
- No contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone recordings.
3. How we use it
- To keep the game running and to fix crashes.
- To understand which levels are too hard, which features are used and where players get stuck.
- To serve the ads that fund the free version, and to measure whether they worked.
- To process in-app purchases and to restore Remove Ads when you reinstall.
- To send the notifications you allowed.
- To answer you when you contact support.
4. Consent and your choices
- Change ad and analytics consent from the privacy options in the game's Settings, where they apply to your region.
- Reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
- Turn off notifications in your device settings.
- Erase your progress by deleting the app; local data is removed with it.
5. Children
Sonaze is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Third-party services
The game uses the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob and Google Play services — policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Meta Audience Network — facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Microsoft Clarity — privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
- Apple App Store, Game Center — apple.com/legal/privacy
7. Data retention
Analytics and crash data are kept for the period set in the relevant service, generally up to fourteen months for analytics. Support messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and to keep a record of it. Your save data stays on your device until you delete the app.
8. International transfers
The services above may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, those providers rely on recognised transfer safeguards.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data we hold about you, and to object to its use or withdraw consent. Because we hold little that identifies you, we may ask you to send the app-instance details needed to find your records. Contact us at codenovatech.io@gmail.com.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted local storage on Android and secure transport for network requests. No method is completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and material changes will be noted in the game or on this page.
